1. Historical places
......1.1 Grand Palace and Wat Phra Kaew
The Grand Palace is one of Bangkok’s major tourist attractions. Built in 1782. Wat Phra Kaew, the temple of the Emerald Buddha, and the adjoining Grand Palace together form the greatest spectacle for the visitor to Bangkok.
......1.2 Bangkok National Museum
The National Museum houses the largest collection of Thai art and artifacts in the country. The collection includes The King Ram Khamhaeng Inscription, which was inscribed on UNESCO's Memory of the World Programme Register in 2003 in recognition of its world significance.
......1.3 Wat Pho
Wat Pho (or Wat Chetuphon), built by King Rama I, is the oldest and also the largest temple in Bangkok. Today Wat Pho boasts a widely respected school which teaches the art of foot reflex massage.
......1.4 Vimanmek Palace
Vimanmek Palace is the world’s largest golden teakwood mansion with its elaborate architectural style reflecting a western influence. Although the ground floor is brick and cement, the upper floors are built of beautiful golden teakwood. There are altogether 31 exhibition rooms.

Ancient Siam is dubbed as the world's largest outdoor museum. Situated close to the Crocodile Farm in Samut Prakan province, the 320-hectare city features 116 structures of Thailand's famous monuments and architectural attractions.
